HERO GLAMOUR OVERVIEW & PRICE
The Hero Glamour gets a 124.7cc BS6 engine, which develops a power of 10.72 bhp and a torque of 10.6 Nm. The Glamour comes up with a combined braking system for both wheels with both front and rear drum brakes. This Glamour bike weighs 122 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 10 litres. The BS6 Hero Glamour got a subtle aesthetic makeover. The front fascia now gets an updated headlight with DRLs on either side. The front cowl gets a new plastic panel with a 3D “Hero” logo.
The fuel tank extensions and the side panels have also received mild styling. The taillight now features an “H” shape. Overall, the styling looks so much better than the outgoing model. The instrument cluster retains the semi-digital layout that comprises an analogue speedometer. At the same time, the digital display shows the fuel level, odometer, trip meter, fuel economy and service due indicator. Glamour’s switchgear looks dated compared to the modern buttons its rivals offer.
Hero Glamour’s five-speed 124.7cc BS6 engine makes 10.7bhp of power and 10.6Nm of peak torque. The motorcycle is built around a diamond frame, with telescopic forks at the front and hydraulic shock absorbers at the back. The braking power comes from 130mm drum brakes on 18-inch alloy wheels. A 240mm disc brake is available as an option. The safety net includes CBS tech that Hero MotoCorp calls the Integrated Braking System. The Glamour competes with the Honda SP 125 and the Bajaj Pulsar 125.
It has multiple colour options but looks the best in the Blaze edition. This model gets a fancier green dual-tone paint scheme, making it stand out. These include an LED headlight, a Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster, a turn-by-turn navigation system, a side-stand engine cut-off function, and a USB charger. The new Glamour XTec also features a bank angle sensor that turns off the engine to fall in an emergency. Cosmetic upgrades include matte black paint with silver accents, 3D branding, and silver rim tapes. The current ex-showroom Hero Glamour price is ₹ 82,348.
