HONDA CBR 1000RR-R OVERVIEW
The Honda CBR 1000RR-R is Honda’s flagship sports bike and aggressive style. So, there is more muscle and masculinity that encompasses the motorcycle. The engine is a thriller that gets with a liquid-cooled 999cc four-cylinder engine that produces 189bhp and 114Nm of torque. Standard features on the Fireblade include C-ABS, digital instrumental console, telescopic forks in front and gas-charged ones at the rear. The tail lamp too features an LED which makes it looks unique. On a full tank, the sports bike can go for 280km. It is fun to ride within the city and long hauls.
The supersport CBR started life in 1992 as the CBR900RR. It got an upgrade every two years. It was in 2004 that it went from a CBR900RR to a CBR1000RR. This is the bike that has been on posters, in movies, and the list goes on. The last edition came in 2014, but the engine has not seen any changes since 2008. To date, we had the RC2121V engine. After many colour and decal changes, Honda unleashed their new CBR1000RR in 2017. And This bike is nothing short of spectacular.
The more rounded headlamps have given way to the new sharp spade-shaped ones. This motorcycle somewhat reminds you of the previous-gen Panigale. The gold-painted upside-down forks with the gold-painted rims look a class apart and the indicators on the mirrors. From the sides, the fairing is sleeker than before, and the typical red/blue/white colour scheme remains as the Fireblade Sp HRC edition. The rider seat seems generous, but that is entirely the opposite for a pillion.
The Honda CBR 100ORR-R may not be the most significant supersport, but it does not lack performance. A shorter wheelbase, lower frame, excellent torque, lighter weight. The engineers at Honda have worked out a marvel. There is very little to argue with Honda regarding quality and deliverance.
