HONDA CBR 650R OVERVIEW & PRICE

The Honda CBR 650R is a fresh motorcycle from the house of Honda. CBR 650F was the name of this motorcycle at the beginning, a middleweight Sports Tourer machine. This motorcycle has a 648.72cc liquid-cooled four cylinders, 16 valve 4-stroke DOHC engine that produces up to 87.06PS @12,000rpm and a peak torque of 57.5Nm @8500 RPM. It had the same engine as the CBR 650R but with a different set of tuning. But as time passed, this motorcycle started looking outdated and lacking features compared to its competitors.

So, in 2019, Honda upgraded its CBR 650F to the CBR 650R, which was spottier, more aggressive, nimble, and agile than before. Also, the tuning of the CBR 650R is on the aggressive side. This motorcycle now produces more horsepower and torque than the ‘F’ version. Also, there have been a lot of changes in the ergonomics and body styling. Regarding ergonomics, the CBR 650R comes with a more forward, lean sitting position, and the body styling is inspired by Honda’s flagship model, the Honda CBR 1000RR.

CBR 650R is now a more track-ready motorcycle. With the more aggressive ergonomics, the Honda CBR 650R feels much more confident while cornering and knee downs. This motorcycle comes with a very informative and fully digital instrument cluster. The basic features offered in the instrument cluster include a speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, clock, two trip meters, and engine temperature gauge.

CBR 650R is a bike from one of the best manufacturers. So, there should not be any issue with the engine. But before buying, you should always take a test bike ride. And this bike is available in only two color options- Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic and Grand Prix Red. The current ex-showroom Honda CBR 650R price is ₹ 8,89,000.
