HONDA LIVO OVERVIEW & PRICE

Honda Livo is available in 2 variants and four colors. The Livo gets power from a 109.51cc BS6 engine, which develops a capacity of 8.67 bhp and a torque of 9.30 Nm. With both front and rear drum brakes, the Honda Livo has a combined braking system for both wheels. This Livo bike weighs 115 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 9 liters.

The Honda Livo recently launched a spiritual successor to the CB Twister. Sold alongside the Dream series of 110cc commuter bikes, the Livo is the most expensive small-capacity commuter in the Japanese manufacturer’s line-up. While the Twister was one of the most stylish 110cc commuter motorcycles in the Indian market, it failed to capture the buyers’ imagination. Honda has attempted to overcome this defeat by taking a toned-down toward styling.

The Livo is Honda’s premium 100/110cc motorcycle. It is an aggressively designed motorcycle for the segment, with the tank extensions making the bike appear larger than it is. The Livo offers standard tubeless tires and six-spoke alloy wheels, while a front disc brake gives an option extra. CBS is also an option with the front drum and disc brake. CBS will soon become standard fitment.

The Livo is built around a diamond frame borrowed from the CB Twister. Powering the Livo is the tried and tested 110cc four-stroke single-cylinder engine that puts out 8.2bhp and 8.63Nm of torque through a four-speed transmission and returns a company-claimed fuel efficiency of 74kmpl. The Livo rides on conventional telescopic front forks and spring-loaded hydraulic rear suspension.

The Livo is available in four paint schemes- blue, black, grey, and red. Available in five variants, self-drum-alloy, and self-disc-alloy, with the option of CBS on each, the Livo competes with other 110cc commuter bikes like the Hero Passion X Pro and TVS Victor. The current ex-showroom Honda Livo price is ₹ 78,000.

HONDA LIVO VERDICT

PROS

  • The 110cc engine is very smooth
  • Returns very good fuel efficiency
  • Gets 5-step adjustable suspension at the rear

CONS

  • Instrument cluster is boring to look at
  • One of the expensive bikes in the segment
