KAWASAKI W800 OVERVIEW

Kawasaki W800 is a cruiser bike available in India. It is powered by a 773cc BS6 engine with a blend of retro and modern designs. With both front and rear disc brakes, Kawasaki W800 comes up with an anti-locking braking system. This superbike weighs 224 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 15 liters with a milage of 21-28 km/l.

Kawasaki W800 received a BS6 upgrade in 2020. The changes, however, are limited to the mechanical upgrades to comply with the newest emission norms. The 773cc, twin-cylinder, air-cooled engine makes 50.2 bhp of maximum power and 62.9 Nm of peak torque. The engine is linked to a five-speed gearbox.

In terms of design, the W800 packs a retro look that is emphasized by a round headlight, wire-spoke wheels, and many chrome-treated parts. The retro styling is complemented by modern features such as an LED headlight, a semi-digital instrument cluster, and an assist and slipper clutch mechanism.

The hardware comprises telescopic forks at the front and twin-sided springs at the back to perform the shock absorption task. The braking setup includes single discs on both wheels.

The Kawasaki W800 is available in a single-color option – Metallic Flat Spark Black with Metallic Matte Graphite Gray. The motorcycle rivals the Triumph Street Twin and the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 in the Indian market. The Ex-Showroom Price starts from Rs.7,26,000.
