KTM RC 125 OVERVIEW
The KTM RC 125 is powered by a 125cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 14.5 bhp and a torque of 12 Nm. With both front and rear disc brakes, KTM RC 125 comes up with an anti-locking braking system.
KTM followed the success of the 125 Duke with its faired sibling, the RC 125 in India. The motorcycle gets the same aggressive styling as the other RC models including the projector headlamps accompanied by LED DRLs, turn indicators, and tail lamp. It also gets the same step-seat design along with the fully digital instrument console.
The bike is available in two color options – Orange with White and Dark Galvano. The motorcycle uses a 124cc, single-cylinder, BS6-compliant engine. This motor produces 14.3bhp and 12Nm and comes mated to a six-speed gearbox. The RC 125 continues to ride on inverted forks up front and a mono-shock at the rear. Meanwhile, braking is taken care of by a 300mm front disc with a Bybre radial caliper and a 230mm rear disc along with a single-piston Bybre caliper. The system is assisted by single-channel ABS.
It is quite feature-packed for a 125cc motorcycle. It shares its bodywork with the larger KTM RC 200 and RC 390 and looks quite sporty. Features include twin projector headlights, LED taillights, and LED turn indicators. Its digital instrument console gets a shift light and includes a speedometer, tachometer, gear position indicator, fuel gauge, temperature gauge, trip meters and a digital side stand warning display.
The KTM RC 125 features the most advanced 125cc motor in India. It features liquid-cooling, a 4-valve head, and fuel injection. The new BS6-compliant motor develops the same 14.5PS at 9250rpm and 12Nm at 8000rpm. It comes with a 6-speed gearbox.
Like the motor, the KTM RC 125’s underpinnings are quite premium. The BS6-compliant motorcycle gets a lightweight trellis frame and WP suspension components consisting of 43mm upside-down forks and monoshock. For braking, the RC 125 BS6 gets ByBre components that include a 300mm front disc with a radial calliper and a 230mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS. The KTM RC 125 BS6 continues to have the same sporty riding position and 820mm seat height.
