REVOLT RV 300 OVERVIEW
RV 300 is available in only 1-variant and 2-colours. Revolt RV 300 generates 1500 W power from its motor. Based on the RV 400, Revolt Motors has also introduced its scaled-down version in the form of the RV 300. Available in only one variant, the RV 300 follows a similar design language to its elder sibling and follows the same street bike stance. The RV 300 is available in two colour shades, Smokey Grey and Neon Black.
The RV 300 gets a 1.5KW hub-mounted motor that draws charge from a 60V/2.7 kWh lithium-ion battery. The battery takes 3 hours for a 75 per cent charge and 4.2 hours for a full charge. Revolt has equipped the RV 300 with three riding modes- Eco, Normal and Sport. The top speed and range vary depending on the mode the motorcycle is riding. The RV300 has a digital instrument cluster and full-LED lighting.
The RV 300 features inverted forks up front and an adjustable mono-shock for the rear. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch alloy wheels, shod with 90/80 (front) and 110/80 (rear) section tyres. Compared to the Revolt RV400, the RV300 gets a smaller 2.7kWh lithium-ion battery and a smaller 1.5kW hub motor. The bike comes with a claimed range of 80km-150km on a full charge, and the battery takes 4.2 hours to charge completely. Zero to 75 per cent charge takes 3.5 hours.
The RV 300 also features a smaller rear disc, whereas the front disc and the suspension remain the same as the RV400. The RV300 gets a box-section swingarm and misses out on keyless ignition and a slightly slimmer rear tyre to keep cost in check.
REVOLT RV 300 VERDICT
PROS

ABOUT REVOLT BIKES
Revolt made entry into limelight in India by means of joint venture with TVS in 1982. Later in 2001 both parted their ways and Revolt Motorcycles India was formed. Lonely ride for Revolt from there on has been through a rough patch and majority of the models were not able to make a mark and were discontinued. After the launch of Gixxer and Access 125, there is a radical shift in the fortunes of the company. Their focus is now more inclined towards quality rather than quantity. Because of this, results are clearly evident as they have posted remarkable sales figures.
