TVS SCOOTY PEP PLUS OVERVIEW & PRICE
The TVS Scooty Pep is a TVS entry-level scooter geared for young Indian ladies that was released in 2003. The Scooty Pep Plus was rebadged after the scooter had a thorough makeover. It has small and lightweight dimensions, making it easy to handle and manoeuvre. It gets an 87.8cc BS6 engine that produces 5.36 horsepower and 6.5 Nm of torque.
The TVS Scooty has front and rear drum brakes, resulting in a combined stopping system for both wheels. The fuel tank capacity of this scooter is 4.2 gallons, and it weighs 93 kg. It had an air-cooled single-cylinder engine for the older version, but now it gets BS6 with fuel injection. Surprisingly, despite the lower emissions, it produces more power and torque, with 5.3bhp and 6.5Nm, respectively, than the BS4 variant.
The scooter is suspended in the front by telescopic forks and rear by a mono-shock, with drum brakes on both ends and Synchronized Braking Technology (SBT). The Scooty Pep Plus equips with a mobile charger plug; side stand alarm, under-seat storage hooks, DRLs, an open glove box, and TVS unique Eazy Stand technology, which decreases the effort necessary to put the vehicle on the centre stand by 30%.
3D emblem, jazzier set of images, and premium textured seat finish fit in the matte finish edition. The TVS Scootey Pep Plus is available in six colours- Aqua Matte, Coral Matte, Frosted Black, Nero Blue, Princess Pink and Silver Brown.
