TVS JUPITER OVERVIEW & PRICE
Jupiter is TVS’s most popular 110cc scooter in India. It is one of the most popular scooters from the Hosur-based manufacturer due to its neutral style, comfortable ride quality, and utility. The TVS Jupiter is a 109.7cc scooter with a gasoline tank capacity of 6 litres and a weight of 109kg. The new TVS intelligent feature has been added to the Jupiter ZX Disc. It’s simply a ‘start-stop’ mechanism that turns off the engine if it’s been idling for an extended period. It helps to boost the scooter’s mileage.
Jupiter BS6 retains the same 109.7cc single-cylinder engine as previously, but it is now fuel-injected to enable it to meet the BS6 emission standards. It now produces 7.47PS and 8.4Nm, 0.51PS less than the BS4 version. For added convenience, the scooter has an all-in-one ignition key slot. In addition, the Jupiter BS6 replaces the old halogen headlight with an LED unit. A check engine light is also present because it is fuel-injected. A spacious 21-litre under-seat storage compartment, a sizeable 2-litre cubbyhole on the back of the apron, and mobile phone charging are included.
The Jupiter used to come with an optional front disc brake in the BS4 model, but it only comes with drum brakes on both ends, except for the ZX disc variant. The BS6 scooter is 1kg heavier than before, at 109kg. The current ex-showroom TVS Jupiter price is ₹ 73,340.
