The Yamaha FZS 25 comes from the FZ series, well known as the Lord of Streets, and it comes with a BS-VI Compliant engine and a Bi-functional LED headlight with an LED daytime running lamp. This model has a 7-step adjustable motocross suspension and Dual-channel ABS with a 282 mm front disc brake and 220 mm rear disc brake.

The supersport has an air-cooling, 4-stroke, 2-valve engine with a 249 cc displacement. It has a maximum horsepower of 20.8 PS per 8,000 rpm and comes with a 5-speed transmission type and a Wet, Multiple disc clutch. The motorcycle gives a maximum torque of 20.1 Nm per 6,000 rpm with an electric starter and fuel injection. Introduced with a Kerb weight of 154 Kg and a Fuel tank capacity of 14 L, it is 1,105 mm high and gives a minimum ground clearance of 160 mm. The motorsport also has an in-built side stand engine cut-off switch.

Yamaha, known initially as Nippon Gakki Co., obtained its name from Torakusu Yamaha, its founder. It started as a Western musical instruments manufacturer in Japan in 1887.
