KAWASAKI KX 450 OVERVIEW & PRICE

Kawasaki KX 450 has tweaked the engine for better low-end torque, which makes it easier to get out of tricky situations. It gets a 449cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. This engine cradles a lightweight aluminium perimeter frame that works in tandem with inverted telescopic forks at the front and a new Uni Trak with adjustable dual-range at the rear. The Braking duties are taken care of by the single semi-floating 270mm petal disc at the front and a single 250mm petal disc at the rear.

It gets a Fuel Injection fuel system and forced lubrication, semi-dry sump. It has only an electric start as starting. The KX450 carries forward the design of its predecessor, and this track-use-only motorcycle misses street-legal features such as headlight, taillight, turn indicators, and rear-view mirrors. The off-road design of the bike includes- wire-spoke wheels wrapped in knobby tyres, a tall-set exhaust, a tall front fender, and a flat saddle.

The KX450 uses an aluminium perimeter frame, petal-type disc brakes on both wheels, upside-down front forks, a rear mono-shock, and a Renthal aluminium Fatbar. It is available in only one variant and one colour. The latest edition of the bike comes draped in a new Lime Green colour option comprising a new set of decals. This KX450 bike weighs 110.2 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 6.2 litres. The other specs of this motorcycle are as follows: wheelbase is 1,485mm, ground clearance is 340mm, (l x w x h) is 2185mm x 820mm x 1265mm, and seat height is 955mm.
