KAWASAKI KX 250 OVERVIEW & PRICE
The Kawasaki KX 250 is a dirt bike, or a motocross bike, from Kawasaki for the Indian market. It’s a purpose-built machine that’s not road legal and cannot be registered for riding on public roads. Every component in the KX250 takes on some hard abuse while riding, sliding and jumping on varied terrains. Built around an aluminium perimeter frame, rides on a long travel, fully adjustable 48mm upside down forks up front, and a Uni Trak adjustable mono-shock at the rear. The wired spoked wheels are shod with knobby tyres to stick on rough surfaces.
The Braking duties are taken care of by the single semi-floating 270mm petal disc at the front and a single 240mm petal disc at the rear. It gets a Fuel Injection fuel system and forced lubrication, semi-dry sump. It has only an electric start as starting. The KX250 carries forward the design of its predecessor, and this track-use-only motorcycle misses street-legal features such as headlight, taillight, turn indicators, and rear-view mirrors.
The KX250 uses an aluminium perimeter frame, petal-type disc brakes on both wheels, inverted front forks, ranthal fatbar, slim, ergonomic bodywork, a hydraulic clutch, fine-tuned suspension and brake components. It is available in only one variant and one colour. The latest edition of the bike comes draped in a new Lime Green colour option comprising a new set of decals.
This KX250 bike weighs 107.3 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 6.2 litres. The other specs of this motorcycle are as follows: wheelbase is 1,485mm, ground clearance is 335mm, (l x w x h) is 2180mm x 820mm x 1265mm, and seat height is 950mm. The current ex-showroom Kawasaki KX 250 price is ₹ 7,99,000.
