Kawasaki Versys 650 is a sports bike available in India. Styling upgrades are limited to the revision of the colour theme. Everything else remains similar to the BS4 model. Thus, the latest iteration of the motorcycle continues to feature a twin-pod headlight, adjustable windscreen, semi-digital instrument cluster, wide handlebar, step-up seat, and an underbelly exhaust.
It gets a 649cc BS6 engine with a slim, upright riding position and the wide bar offers excellent machine control. The superbike weighs 218 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 21 litres. The motorcycle retains the displacement of 649cc and the parallel twin-cylinder, the liquid-cooled engine. It produces 65.7bhp power at 8,500rpm and 61Nm of peak torque at 7,000rpm. The engine links to a six-speed gearbox.
It also retains the adjustable suspension, with the preload and rebound-adjustable front and preload-adjustable rear. This motorcycle rides on 17-inch alloy wheels with road-biased tires, and the anchoring power comes from twin, petal-type discs at the front and a single rotor at the back, and the safety net includes ABS.
