The new twin-cylinder of the family of Ducati dual bikes is a 360◦ bike, increasingly intuitive, comfortable, fun and accessible. During the development of this model, the main points of focus were ergonomics, weight reduction and engine updates. The Ducati Multistrada V2 S gets an updated 973cc, Testastretta 11◦, L-Twin cylinder, Desmodromic valve-train, and Liquid-cooled engine. This engine mates with a six-speed transmission gearbox that produces a peak torque of 96N-m @ 7,750rpm and a maximum power of 113PS @ 9,000rpm.
The interventions on the gearbox and clutch, together with the introduction of new connecting rods and new covers, have also reduced the weight of the engine by 2kg. New refined graphics show the name on both sides of the bike for an elegant and sporty look at the same time. The reduction of height to 830mm, with a redesigned shape of the saddle, allows you to touch the ground with your feet. Thanks to an inseam arch of only 1790mm.
The chassis of the Ducati Multistrada V2 S includes a front trellis frame together with two cast side frames. The suspension duties are taken care of by Ø 48mm fully adjustable USD fork at the front and a fully adjustable mono-shock at the end. This bike gets advanced braking with the Brembo brakes at both ends with cornering ABS. Ducati Multistrada V2 S uses light alloy cast wheels and Pirelli Scorpion Trail tyres.
The Ducati Multistrada V2 S has more advanced safety equipment- four riding modes, power modes, cornering ABS, Ducati Traction Control, Ducati Brake Light, Vehicle Hold Control and Ducati Cornering Light. Another feature of this bike is a high revolution 5-inch colour TFT display that gives all information about your ride. This bike has a fuel tank capacity of 20litres and weighs 225Kg. Ducati Red and Street Grey are the colour options available for this motorcycle.
Ducati Bikes is a group of companies, best known for manufacturing motorcycles and headquartered in Borgo Panigale, Bologna, Italy. The group is owned by German automotive manufacturer Audi through its Italian subsidiary Lamborghini, which is in turn owned by the Volkswagen Group. No matter the era, it’s a feat to create something that has as much visual impact now as it did 20 years ago. It proves that however cliched, less is more, even when the industry and society are wildly different from the environment in which it was created.
