The Yamaha FZ X gets an air-cooling, 4-stroke, 2-valve engine with a 149 cc displacement. It also has a maximum horsepower of 12.4 PS per 7,250 rpm. It links a 5-speed transmission type and a Wet, Multiple disc clutch; the motorcycle gives a maximum torque of 13.3Nm per 5,500 rpm with an electric starter and fuel injection. The aforementioned has a 12 V battery with a speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, side-stand engine cut-off switch, dual ABS channel, and an under-cowl.

Along with a Class D Bi-functional headlight, a Multi-function negative LCD instrument cluster, and a Lightweight body, the bike goes together with an advanced midship muffler cover to give an impression of sharpness. The Yamaha FZ-X comes from the FZ series, well known as the Lord of Streets, that gets a BS-VI Compliant engine, a Bi-functional LED headlight with an LED daytime running lamp.

The FZ-X has a 7-step adjustable mono-cross suspension and Dual-channel ABS with a 282 mm front disc brake and 220 mm rear disc brake. This streetfighter is designed to express, not to impress. Yamaha, known initially as Nippon Gakki Co., obtained its name from Torakusu Yamaha, its founder. It started as a Western musical instruments manufacturer in Japan in 1887.
