When it comes to the looks of the Benelli Imperiale 400 BS6, the style itself is the real essence of the bike. This bike gives the perfect look of a retro cruiser with a round headlight in the front. The new BS6 version has come with many upgrades by which it not only enhances the looks and style but also has better performance than the older version.

When it comes to the heart of the Imperiale 400, which is the engine, the BS6 engine with single-cylinder, air-cooled, 4-valves/cylinder with SOHC(single overhead camshaft) and fuel injection produces a displacement of 374 cc power. It gives a maximum power of 21PS @ 6000 RPM with a peak torque of 29 Nm @ 3500 RPM.

Apart from the updated engine, the Imperiale 400 has no change mechanically. With the same 41mm front telescopic suspension and pre-load adjustable rear suspension. It also got spoked rim wheels with 19” front and 18” rear dimensions with tube tyres. While braking setup includes a dual-channel ABS with a 300mm front disc and 240mm rear disc brake.

It is smooth on any road with a 5-speed manual transmission and a multidisc wet clutch. The Imperiale 400 has a fuel capacity of 12 litres with 2 litres as a reserve. Even with all these upgrades, it has the same kerb weight of 205 Kg. With a ground clearance of 165mm, it has dimensions of 2170mm in length, 1120mm in height and 820mm in width.
