As the name itself says, the new Benelli 502C is mounted with a 500 cc powerful engine which even makes it a powerful bike among the cruiser segment. With a long handlebar, aggressive body lines, a sensuous steel trellis frame, comfortable ergonomics and forward foot control it gives a big cruiser experience to the rider. Benelli also named this bike the Ultimate Urban Cruiser. This Italian cruiser also comes with a huge fuel tank volume of 21 litres, and double barrel stainless exhaust pipes which make everyone notice it with its powerful roar.
The Benelli 502C Ultimate Urban Cruiser has BS6 updates and come with a great fuel capacity of 21 litres, which adds extra kilometres to your journey. With an electronic fuel injection fuel supply system, the engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and wet multi-plate clutch.
The 502C is established with a 500 cc in-line four-stroke twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with four valves per cylinder and double overhead camshaft, which offers a smooth and extremely powerful delivery with optimum fuel consumption. With these features, it produces a peak power of 47.5 PS @8500 RPM and a peak torque of 46 Nm @ 6000 RPM.
With a 41mm upside-down telescopic fork front suspension and 30mm telescopic coil spring damped rear suspension, one can rule the streets with this cruiser. The 17” wheels have been mounted with Dual Channel ABS i.e, 280mm dual disc in front brakes and 240mm single-disc rear brakes.
This bike comes with fully digital instrumentation, which keeps the rider informed of his actions. And comes with a ground clearance of 170mm. It is available in 2 colour variants namely Matte Black and Matte Cognac Red.
The standard variant of this bike comes with a starting price of Rs.5,10,000/- (ex-showroom price) onwards.
With a rich history dating back to 1911, Benelli brothers from Italy has started a journey that of Benelli company which is still going on. Now along the journey in 2005 Benelli became part of the QJIAN JIANG group from China. The Italian influence is just limited to some models from the Benelli headquarters that too in the designing process. With growing competition from Japanese models, they were feeling the heat which led to tie-up with QJIAN JIANG group.
