The supercharged roadster gets a 998cc, inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 200PS maximum power at 11,000rpm and 137Nm of peak torque at 8,500rpm. The motor is linked to a six-speed transmission that benefits from an assist and a slipper clutch. The gearbox also features a bi-directional quick-shifter. Kawasaki claims that the supercharged engines pack ample power and easy-to-manage power delivery.
The electronic rider aids include three riding modes (Sport, Rain, and Road), three power modes (Full, Medium, and Low), Kawasaki Traction Control, Kawasaki Cornering Management Function, and Kawasaki Intelligent anti-lock Brake System, Kawasaki Launch Control Mode, and a cruise control system. The other features include smartphone connectivity, advanced electronic systems that support vehicle control, a fat-type handlebar, handle switches, a balanced supercharged engine, a Trellis frame, and a full-color TFT LCD screen.
It gets a Fuel Injection fuel system and forced lubrication, a wet sump with an oil cooler. It has only an electric start as starting. The Kawasaki Ninja H2R uses Trellis, high-tensile steel with Swingarm Mounting Plate as a frame. The suspension is under the care of an inverted fork at the front and a new-Uni Trak, Ohlins TTX36 gas-charged shock at the end. Brembo disc brakes take care of braking with dual semi-floating 330mm at the front and a single 250mm at the rear.
It is available in only one variant and color- Metallic Matte Graphene. The Z H2 and Z H2 SE are the few products using the “Kawasaki river mark.” The logo is limited to models with historical significance only.
