INTRODUCTION

The Benelli TRK 502X was launched in India to strengthen the adventure-touring segment. After the launch of TRK 502, Benelli India launched TRK 502X with a price of Rs.5,24,000/-(ex-showroom price) onwards. Both the bikes have similar specifications and performance with some changes in the design and style. Where in TRK 502X they have spoken wheels and redesigned exhaust system. And this bike also has a wind tunnel designed windscreen which gives wind and weather protection to both rider and pillion rider.

BENELLI TRK 502 X OVERVIEW

The Benelli TRK 502X comes with a BS6 upgraded In-line 2-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 8-valve engine with DOHC ( Dual Overhead Camshaft). With a displacement of 500 cc, it produces a maximum power of 47.5 PS @ 8500 RPM and a maximum torque of 46 Nm @ 6000 RPM. This engine is mounted with a 6-speed manual transmission gearbox.

Although it is very similar to the TRK 502 model, this bike has many updates like backlit switchgear, adjustable handlebar, and redesigned mirrors. And it gets a re-designed exhaust system with an attractive exhaust sound. With LED DRL lights all around, it is mounted with an analog and digital compiled speedometer.

It is available in 3 colour variants Metallic Dark Grey, Pure White, and Red. The bike has Trestle steel tubes and plates chassis with Inverted telescopic and Hydraulic mono-shock suspensions in front and rear respectively. This bike is updated with a Rim and hub in Aluminum alloy with iron spokes rim wheels with 19” in front and 17” in the rear.

With a ground clearance of 220mm, it makes this bike perfect for both on-road and off-road. With a 320mm Dual discs front brake and 260mm Single disc rear brakes, this bike has one of the best quality Dual-channel ABS brakes.

It gets a fuel tank capacity of 20 litres and 3 litres in reserve. With such out-and-out features and performance, it is launched in India to compete with other bikes in the same segment like Royal Enfield Himalayan, Honda CB500X and others. The standard variant of this bike comes with a starting price of Rs.5,24,000/-(ex-showroom price) onwards.
