HERO SPLENDOR PLUS XTEC OVERVIEW & PRICE
The Hero Splendor Plus XTEC is powered by a 97.2cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 8.02PS @ 8,000rpm and a torque of 8.05Nm @ 6,000rpm. This Splendor Plus XTEC bike weighs 112 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 9.8 litres.
The motorcycle comes in just one variant with a drum brake with no disc brake, even as an option, which is very disappointing. The engine in Splendor Plus and Splendor Plus XTEC are identical, with similar power and torque
figures. There is a drop of 1.3bhp with the torque figure remaining intact but arriving 1000rpm later. The engine continues to mate with a four-speed gearbox with i3s technology and Xsens Programmed Fuel Injection. There are
drastic changes when it comes to styling aspects of the motorcycle. Most of the areas of the bike are blacked out with less chrome present. Another thing to note is that colour schemes with somewhat modern graphics are more
trendy. Only the silencer shield, rear pillion grip, and crash guard have a chrome finish within the parts. There are three colour options to choose from. While talking about features, Splendor Plus XTEC has a fully digital
console, Real-time fuel indicator, Bluetooth, Call & SMS alert, side stand engine cut-off, i3s technology, LED headlamp, tubeless tyres, 5-step adjustable rear suspension etc. Features, along with decent styling aspects, make
it a cynosure for Indian customers for sure. The current ex-showroom Hero Splendor Plus XTEC price is ₹ 79,911.
