In mid-2022, Jindal Worldwide entered the electric vehicle market by acquiring Earth Energy EV through its subsidiary Jindal Mobilitric. In addition to the start-up’s current facility in Maharashtra, a new manufacturing plant will be established in Ahmedabad. Jindal Mobilitric, the EV start-up, has already selected distributors in 10 states, including Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Odisha. These distributors will continue to work with Jindal Mobilitric. Furthermore, the company intends to establish new touchpoints in each market.
