ROYAL ENFIELD METEOR 350 OVERVIEW & PRICE
Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is one of the cruiser bikes available in India. The Meteor 350 gets a 349cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 20.2 bhp and a torque of 27 Nm. This Meteor 350 bike weighs 191 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 15 liters. The RE Meteor 350 is the first motorcycle from Royal Enfield’s new J platform. This bike replaced the famous Thunderbird but also managed to attract new buyers. Royal Enfield launched the Meteor 350 in three variants to cater to a wide range of buyers, all priced differently.
It comes in ten colors – fireball yellow, Fireball red, supernova blue, stellar red, supernova red, Stellar black, supernova brown, fireball matte green, fireball Custom black, and Stellar blue. The overall styling resembles the Thunderbird; it is now more modern and looks much nicer. The brand has used curvy design elements to look like a modern cruiser. Plus, so many accessories are on offer that increases the overall appeal of the bike.
The Meteor 350 returns a good 40kmpl in the city, but this figure drops to around 350kmpl on the highway. The 350 gets power from a BS6-compliant 349 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, long-stroke motor. The engine makes 20.2 bhp of power and 27 Nm of peak torque and links to a 5-speed gearbox. The torque delivery is almost flat, making riding on the highway and city easy. The light clutch and smooth gearshifts make the riding experience more fun and comfortable.
The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 gets a modern semi-digital instrument cluster. There’s also a navigation system that can be accessed via Bluetooth feature. Dual-channel ABS is standard, and so are LED DRLs. Telescopic forks handle the suspension tasks on the new Meteor 350 at the front and twin-sided shock absorbers at the back.
