HERO DESTINI 125 OVERVIEW

The Hero Destini 125 is powered by 124.6cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 9 bhp and a torque of 10.4 Nm. With both front and rear drum brakes, Hero Destini 125 comes up with combined braking system of both wheels. This Destini 125 scooter weighs 114 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 5 liters.

The Destini 125 marks Hero’s entry into the premium 125cc scooter segment. It borrows styling cues from its younger sibling, the Duet 110 with its masculine bodywork along with sharp lines throughout. It is offered in four variants- LX, VX, Platinum and a special 100 Million Edition.

The 125 gets a handlebar mounted headlamp with LED guide lamps and turn indicators positioned on its front apron. Both variants also get an external fuel filler cap and the i3S system which helps in conserving fuel. It gets an analogue speedometer with a small digital unit that displays trip meter, odometer, and fuel level as standard.

The bike unit is mated to a CVT gearbox. Braking is handled by drum brakes on both ends with a combined braking system (CBS) as standard. Meanwhile, suspension duties are taken care of by telescopic front forks and a linked monoshock at the rear.

Hero is offering the Destini 125 in eight colour schemes. To celebrate the crossing of 100 million cumulative production milestone, Hero has also introduced a special-edition model that is adorned with a combination of red and white colours. The scooter faces direct competition from the Suzuki Access 125 and Activa 125 in the country.

The Hero Destini 125 starts at Rs. 69,500, going all the way up to Rs. 74,750. Hero Destini 125 is offered in four variants: BS6 LX, BS6 VX, Platinum, and the top-spec Destini 125 100 Million Edition.
