The SUZUKI KATANA gets a 999cc, 4-stroke, DOHC, liquid-cooled engine that has a fuel injection system, a wet sump lubrication system, and the engine links to a 6-speed transmission gearbox. The sporty 4-2-1 exhaust system carries over the clean, sharp looks and luxurious note. It also has a Suzuki clutch assist system, radiator, camshaft, air cleaner box, and electronic throttle bodies.
The design of the SUZUKI KATANA includes powerful all-LED headlamps, all-LED tail lamps, and LED turn signal lamps that keep you safer. It has a fuel cap protection sticker, side protection foil, and a tank pad carbon design. The multi-function instrument cluster provides all the required information regarding your ride. It has highly functional and attractive lighting that assures your safety better.
The suspension is inverted telescopic, coil spring, oil dumped at the front and link type, coil spring, oil-dumped, at the rear. About Suzuki Bikes
Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMI) is a subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan, wherein they have the same manufacturing philosophy of value-packed products right from its inception. SMI is a wholly owned Indian subsidiary of Suzuki, Japan. It was India’s third Suzuki automotive venture, after TVS Suzuki (1982–2001) and Maruti Suzuki (1982). In 1982, the joint venture between Suzuki Motor Corporation and TVS Motor Company incorporated and started the production of two-wheelers in India. In 2001, after parting ways with TVS motor company, the company re-entered the Indian market as Suzuki Motorcycle India, Private Limited (SMI) in 2006.
SMI will manufacture two-wheelers best suited for valuable Indian customers covering all segments. They have installed their manufacturing plant in Gurgaon (Haryana), having an annual capacity of 7,50,000 Two Wheeler P.A. Total land area of the facility at Gurgaon is 37 acres, out of which the present plant is constructed in an area of 10 acres of land. The remaining area is left vacant for land development and future expansion.
