Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT has an anti-locking braking system with front and rear disc brakes. This V-Strom 650 XT bike weighs 216 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 20 liters. Suzuki Motorcycle India’s middleweight adventure tourer, the V-Strom 650 XT, has received mechanical upgrades to comply with the BS6-compliant emission norms. The styling, however, has remained unaltered during the BS6 transition.
Thus, the Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT BS6 retains the vertically-stacked headlamp, beak-like front faring, a tall windscreen, knuckle guards, and an LED taillamp. The motorcycle is available in two colours-Champion Yellow and Pearl Glacier White. The feature list, too, remains identical to the old model. The V-Strom 650 XT BS6 continues to pack a halogen headlight setup, a semi-digital instrument cluster, and tubeless tires.
Mechanical specifications include a 645cc, 90-degree, V-twin, liquid-cooled, BS6-compliant engine that makes 70bhp and 62Nm. The motor links to a six-speed transmission. Electronic rider aids as three switchable traction control levels and dual-channel ABS is standard. The settings alter to suit the rider via the bike’s analog-digital instrument console.
The cycle parts are similar to the BS4 motorcycle, including telescopic front forks and a rear mono-shock to perform the suspension tasks. The braking setup comprises twin rotors at the front and a single disc at the back, while the safety net includes dual-channel ABS and a three-level traction control system. The current ex-showroom price of Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT is ₹ 8,85,000
