TVS APACHE RTR 200 4V OVERVIEW & PRICE
The Apache RTR 200 4V comes with a 197.7cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled, fuel-injected engine. It has a slip-and-assist clutch and links to a five-speed transmission. Sport, Urban, and Rain riding modes are available on both models. The engine produces a maximum power of 20.82PS at 9000rpm in sports mode and a peak torque of 17.25Nm at 7250rpm. While in Urban and Rain modes, it produces 17.32PS at 7800rpm and 16.51Nm at 5750rpm.
The TVS engineers have spent much time working on the new engine to get the most out of it. Carburetor and fuel injection options will be available for the 198cc, oil-cooled, single-cylinder, four-valve motor. At 8,500rpm, the carburetted RTR 200 4V produces 20.3PS and 18.1Nm of torque at 7,000rpm. It boosts the new bike’s output by 3.3PS and 2.6Nm over its 180cc brother, which is a drastic increase. Its fuel-injected model produces 21PS at 9,000rpm and 17.5Nm of peak torque at 7,000rpm.
Nano FriKs, a blend of nanoparticles, binder, solid lubricants, and additives, is placed on the piston to improve combustion efficiency and extend its shelf life. The oil-cooler system performs admirably, and the ram-air technology used will help to aid cooling. The fuel-injected variant had a crisper, quicker throttle response, slightly higher acceleration, and top end.
The bike’s chassis is a double-cradle unit that is re-engineered to make a difference, and the difference is noticeable. The new TVS Remora tires, which provide excellent grip, are another feature that aids the motorcycle’s handling. However, the optional Pirelli tires are unquestionably a better buy due to their superior performance.
