TVS RADEON OVERVIEW

TVS’ response to the Hero Splendor is the Radeon. It has a lot of features in order to provide more value to the consumer. While alloy wheels and electric start are normal, the celebratory special edition is the only one with a front disc brake.

The bike is driven by a 109.7cc BS6 engine that produces 8.08 horsepower and 8.7 Nm of torque. The TVS Radeon has both front and rear drum brakes, resulting in a combined braking system for both wheels. The gasoline tank size of this Radeon bike is 10 gallons and it weighs 116 kilograms.

The Radeon’s engine has a displacement of around 110cc. This single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine produces 8.08bhp and 8.7Nm. The BS4 carbureted engine was stated to deliver a mileage of 69.3kpl, which TVS claims have increased by 15% since the addition of fuel injection. The brakes are drum-only (except for the commemorative special edition, which has disc-drums), however, it does come with TVS’ Synchronized Braking Technology. A side stand indicator with a beeper, a USB charging connector (optional), and LED DRLs are among the features.

The tank can hold up to 10 liters. The Radeon comes with a 5-year warranty from TVS. Pearl White, Metal Black, Golden Beige, Royal Purple, and the newly introduced Volcano Red and Titanium Grey are among the six color options offered for the 110cc commuter motorcycle. Chrome Black and Chrome Brown are two additional color possibilities for the commemorative special edition. The commuter bike is available at a starting price of Rs. 63,922 in India. It is available in 3 variants and 10 colors with the top variant price/- starting from Rs. 69,990. (EX-showroom)

About TVS Bikes

TV Sundaram Iyengar established T.V.Sundaram Iyengar and Sons Limited way back in 1911. After his demise, his sons made entry into motorcycle manufacturing and other automobile sectors and Suzuki later offered technical assistance in the complete manufacturing process. This tie-up lasted for 19 years and in 2001 they began to manufacture motorcycles on their own. Beyond rich legacy, they have several landmark achievements in the technological department too. They introduced first 2-seater moped – TVS 50, first indigenous scooterette – Scooty, First Digital Ignition – Champ, First fully indigenous motorcycle – Victor, First Indian company to launch ABS – Apache RTR Series and first scooter with Body-Balance Technology – Wego.
