TVS SPORT OVERVIEW

The TVS Sport is a commuter motorbike designed for people who want a light-weight ride with a fuel-efficient engine and a low price. TVS replaced it with a larger 110cc motor during the BS6 transition in April 2020, after it was first offered as a 100cc offering.

The scooter is powered by a 109.7cc BS6 engine that produces 8.18 horsepower and 8.7 Nm of torque. It has both front and rear drum brakes, resulting in a combined braking system for both wheels. This Sport bike has a fuel tank size of 10 gallons and weighs 110 kilograms.

The engine is paired with a four-speed transmission. It’s supported by a single-cradle tubular frame with front telescopic forks and hydraulic rear shocks that can be adjusted in five steps. Drum brakes are used on both the front and rear axles, with a link-type braking system assisting them. The TVS Sport comes in two major variants: kick start and self start, as well as five color combinations: black/red, red, white/purple, white/red, and grey. The bike comes standard with a two-pod instrument cluster and LED DRLs to complement the traditional bulb-type headlamp.

The mileage bike is available in India, with a starting price/- of Rs. 56,446. It comes in two models and seven colours, with the top variant starting at Rs. 61,927.(EX showroom)

About TVS Bikes

TV Sundaram Iyengar established T.V.Sundaram Iyengar and Sons Limited way back in 1911. After his demise, his sons made entry into motorcycle manufacturing and other automobile sectors and Suzuki later offered technical assistance in the complete manufacturing process. This tie-up lasted for 19 years and in 2001 they began to manufacture motorcycles on their own. Beyond rich legacy, they have several landmark achievements in the technological department too. They introduced first 2-seater moped – TVS 50, first indigenous scooterette – Scooty, First Digital Ignition – Champ, First fully indigenous motorcycle – Victor, First Indian company to launch ABS – Apache RTR Series and first scooter with Body-Balance Technology – Wego.
